Course: How to become a better listener
Learn and practice supportive conversation skills to become a better listener and improve your personal and professional relationships.
Are you a leader or a parent? Are you responsible for supporting other people in your life?
Are you frustrated that people don’t listen to you when you give them advice?
Do you talk too much or do you feel that your listening skills are lacking?
Do you experience difficulty communicating clearly with your family members, friends or coworkers?
Would you like to improve the conversations you have with the people close to you?
All of these situations can be improved by becoming a better listener.
Those who become better listeners, will have better relationships. And those with better relationships will have more opportunities, more meaning, and more happiness in their life (both personal and professional). And they’ll enrich the lives of everyone around them in the process.
Luckily, listening is a trainable skill. Everybody can become a better listener.
As with any skill (be it martial arts, cooking, or tying your shoelaces), it’s a matter of learning the fundamentals and implementing them. And then; lots of practice.
As a certified coach, being a good listener is my core business. And although I love the profession of coaching, the biggest impact of learning these skills has been in my personal life. I enjoy closer friendships, I’ve rekindled formerly distant connections with family members, and I’ve cultivated new and exciting professional collaborations.
Being a good listener isn’t just important for professional coaches.
Everybody needs these skills.

Live practice is the foundation of this course. No cheat sheets or remembering prefabricated sentences.
This course is for people who take their supportive role seriously. People who want to actively improve, practice, and get better at supporting their family, peers, and colleagues through the conversations they have.
